Beginning ProgrammingThese cover the basics of the NXT, Programming, Moving, and Turning the Robot, and using basic Sensors with Loops and Switches.
Advanced ProgrammingThese advanced programming power points review Loops and Switches. Then cover Data Wires, using sensors with data wires to change your program as it runs.
Inventioneers Project VideoThis first video is from the FLL team The Inventioneers. They have competed at the FLL World Festival and taken their idea to create a company which they now run. They know how to present an idea very well giving the details that they need to give the Judges without overwhelming them. Project AvenueA FLL Video following 6 teams during the season to see how they approach their project and get their ideas done. It is great showing both new and older teams and a few different ways teams come up with their final idea. Below are YouTube playlist for EV3 Training. I have found these very useful for new and old members and coaches alike. Every time I watch one of these I always pick up something new. Playlist - Darren Wilson Not only does he go through the pieces and parts, he shows off general programming and how to trouble shoot problems that come up. WaFFLES Programming Playlist W.A.F.F.L.E.S. Community Robotics has put together my favorite programming EV3 playlist so far. They cover the basic, intermediate, and advanced programming. While for some programming they never come right out and tell you how the final program should look, they do give you all of the building blocks to discover how to get there in the end. Flying Penguins Playlist The Flying Penguins don't go into dept of programming. Instead they cover what each program block is and how it might be used. This is great to learning the new EV3 program blocks. 1. Overview of the Challenge2. Project Video3. Robot Game Video4. Challenge PDF5.
